The Vacation
Store Policies & Terms & Conditions
The Vacation Store sells promotional vacation packages.
The promotional packages that we sell are very inexpensive,
compared to normal retail prices
because they are designed to attract persons that may be
interested in vacation ownership packages that will greatly
reduce future vacation expenses, and allow the package holder to
vacation at top of the line vacation resorts around the world.
Our promotional packages come with certain qualifications &
requirements that
have to be met by every one of our customers. There are no
exceptions to our policies. So to avoid confusion and the
possibility of our customers not being fully aware or our
policies, we require every customer to review the following
terms & conditions and agree to them at the bottom of this page.
This process protects you, as well as us.

Refund/Return Policy
- It is the policy of The Vacation Store to
reschedule the vacation and not to refund if there
is a conflict in your schedule. We do not refund
vacation packages after they are purchased. We
do not charge customers for their vacation package,
until the booking has been confirmed by the resort.
Once your originally requested travel dates have
been confirmed, you are ineligible for a cash
refund, you are only eligible for an in store
credit, for future use.
If you cancel your reservation
for any reason, you are ineligible for a cash
refund, you are only eligible for an in store
credit, for future use. an in store credit means,
you will have the funds placed in your account with
The Vacation Store for future Travel with us. Any
reservations made from an in store credit are not
eligible for a refund, we would only credit the
funds back to your Vacation Store account.
Credited funds
in your Vacation Store account from a
cancelled package are good for a 2 year period
from the original date of purchase.
Your package fee will be credited to your Vacation
Store account account
and you will have 2 full years to use the funds to
any of our destinations during the 2 year period.
The credited funds in your Vacation Store account can be used on any size package,
of any amount of the credit or less. If you use a
partial amount of your credit in your Vacation Store
account for a package, the
remaining amount will stay in your Vacation Store
account for future use.
Any new reservations made with credited funds in
your Vacation Store account from a cancellation, are
also subject to our cancellation policy & Reschedule
dates policy.
Reschedule/change dates Policy
- You may reschedule your vacation no
less than 4 days prior to your scheduled arrival
date, at no charge. Failure to re-schedule
with at least 4 days advance notice of your check-in
date will result in a 1 day fee at regular rack rate
of the resort you are booked at. Regular rack
rate means the normal full commercial rate charged by the
resort or hotel. Cancellations cannot be made by
voice mail, or email. You must contact us directly
by phone at 888-972-1595.
Any funds remaining will be credited to your
Vacation Store account
and you will have 2 full years to use the funds to
any of our destinations. The funds in your Vacation
Store account can be
used on any size package, of any amount of the
credit or less. If you use a partial amount of your
credit for a package, the remaining amount will stay
in your account for future use.
Cancellation Policy
-
You may cancel your reservation no less than 4
days prior to your scheduled arrival date, at no
charge. Failure to re-schedule with at least 4
days advance notice of your check-in date will
result in a 1 time fee of 1 day of lodging at
regular rack rate. Regular rack rate means the
normal full commercial rate charged by the
resort or hotel.
If you give at least 4 days notice, there is no fee.
Your package fee will be credited to your Vacation
Store account
and you will have 2 full years to use the funds to
any of our destinations during the 2 year period.
The credited funds can be used on any size package,
of any amount of the credit or less. If you use a
partial amount of your credit for a package, the
remaining amount will stay in your Vacation Store account for
future use.
Failure to re-schedule prior to check in-
Failure to cancel or re-schedule prior to check in will result
in the forfeiture of your package and you will not
be refunded any money that you paid for your
package. This means that if you fail to check in at
your resort or call us before your check in date to
notify us of your need to cancel will result in the
loss of your reservation, and any money paid for the
package. There is also a 1 day fee at regular rack
rate. Regular rack rate means the normal nightly
rate charged by the resort or hotel. If your
original purchase price (the amount you paid for
your package) was less than the 1 night at rack rate
fee, you will be charged the difference.
If you notify us in advance of your check in date,
you will not lose your money, but You will still
incur the cancellation inside of 4 days fee if it
applies, as
outlined above.
Responsibilities of The
Vacation Store- The Vacation Store is the
agency that is booking the reservation for you to
stay at your selected resort. It is The
responsibility of The Vacation Store is to book the
proper size unit, with the proper equipment &
amenities (according to your reservation) at the
resort you choose, at the agreed upon price you
agreed to pay. The Vacation Store does not assign
the exact Condo, Hotel unit or Pool home you stay
in. We book the proper size unit, with the
advertised amenities, but the resort, hotel, or
management company for the property you stay in
assigns the exact unit you stay in at check in.
We do not and cannot promise pool side
accommodations or any specific room assignments, as
it is not in our control.
It is also the responsibility of The Vacation Store
to book your promotional Timeshare or Vacation Club
presentation (90 minute tour) with the proper
company. Some tours are booked by the
customer, if that is the case, your confirmation
letter will be clear on this, and will include easy
instructions on how to book your tour. Once The
Vacation Store has properly booked your reservation,
sent you the proper confirmation documents & either
booked your tour or explained to you how to book
your tour & collected the agreed upon fee's that may
or may not include sales taxes, we have completed
our responsibilities. Once you check in the
resort, and have been assigned to the proper size
unit, you are the guest of the resort, and they are
responsible for your satisfaction with their
facilities, both in room, and out of room.
The Vacation Store makes every effort to sell
rentals to quality properties, and we make every
effort to make sure we list the correct amenities
that each unit in a resort should have. It is your
responsibility to do your own homework, prior to
making a reservation, regarding amenities, resort
reviews etc. We will make every effort to ensure
that your vacation is a fantastic one, but it is the
consumers choice (you) to decide if you want to stay
at a resort. It is your responsibility to do your
due diligence, and make sure a property is going to
be satisfactory to you. We have absolutely no
control over the management & operation of the
resort you choose to stay at. We have no
control over resort amenities, such as pools, hot
tubs, or in room equipment such as televisions and
radios, or in room appliances, such as Dishwashers &
stoves, or the cleanliness of the room or resort, or
any other situations that may arise at a resort or
hotel. If a television is not functioning
properly, or if the kitchen counter is dirty or any
other unsatisfactory situation arises at the resort,
that situation is between the consumer (you) and the
resort or hotel.
The Vacation Store will NOT issue you a refund after
check in if you decide you do not like the resort,
or the unit you are assigned, or if an appliance or
in room equipment is not functioning properly, or if
you dislike the location of the unit in the resort,
or the actual physical location of the resort.
Even if you check out early for any of these
reasons, we will NOT issue you a full or partial
refund. We will correct improper unit assignments if
you are placed in the wrong size unit (due to our
mistake), but it is
your responsibility to do your due diligence, and
make sure a property is going to be satisfactory to
you.
Responsibilities of The
Resort Management company- It is the
responsibility of the resort management company do
the following;

To assign the proper size unit at check in
(according to your reservation) at the resort you
have decided to stay at. (We will fix any errors if
we caused them).

It is the responsibility of the resort
management team to furnish your unit fully cleaned.
Any unsatisfactory conditions such as stains in
carpet, unclean areas of a unit etc. are to be
addressed to the resort management team.

It is the the responsibility of the resort
management team to provide
the proper sized beds, furniture, functioning equipment,
such as televisions & radios etc as listed in their
advertised list of amenities.

It is the the responsibility of the resort
management team to provide
properly functioning Appliances, such as dishwashers
& stoves etc. according to
their advertised list of amenities in each unit.

It is the the responsibility of the resort
management team to make sure things such as light
fixtures & Furnaces work, towels and soap are in
your unit (if applicable). Some resorts do not
provide certain things, such as dish soap. It
is your responsibility to determine what is provided
by the resort.

It is the the responsibility of the resort
management team to maintain all out
of room resort amenities, such as swimming pools, workout centers,
playgrounds, hot tubs etc.
Any issues that may arise due to your
dissatisfaction about any of the resort management
companies responsibilities are solely between the
customer and the resort management company.
Any requests for refunds, credits or other types of
compensation due to issues related to the
responsibilities of the property management company
are between you and the property management company.
The Vacation Store does not issue refunds, partial
refunds or credits for issues related to the
responsibilities of the resort management team.
Payment Plan Policy
- All packages purchased on a payment
plan from The Vacation Store must be paid in full no
less than 30 days prior to check in unless you have
made other arrangements with us directly. Failure to
pay your package in full as agreed will result in
your loss of your deposit and your reservation will
be cancelled.
Promotional package Terms &
Conditions - You agree that you
and your spouse or significant other (if you have
one) , will attend a minimum 90 minute open house at
The designated Host Resort during
your trip, that includes an explanation of
the benefits of vacation
ownership. You understand there is absolutely
no obligation to buy, join, or sign a thing at the
open house.
Failure to successfully attend the
open house - At the host resort during
your trip will result in
your credit card or checking account being charged
in the amount of $350.00.
To be eligible for our promotional vacation offers,
you must meet all of the terms including the age,
income, identification, credit card, marital & all other qualifications &
guidelines
including the group travel policies
that are associated with the promotional vacation
offer you are booking, (this
info is included on each resort or Hotel offer
page).
Failure to
meet the age, income & all eligibility requirements
- At
the open house at the host resort during your trip
will result in your credit card or checking account
being charged in the amount of $350.00 (check your
offers terms on the resort or hotel page you are
booking to make sure you meet them). This
will not happen as long as you truly meet the
income, age, marital, identification & group travel qualifications of the offer.
There are no exceptions to our
policies, you MUST meet the income, age,
identification, credit card & eligibility guidelines
& successfully attend the resort tour during your
trip. If for any reason, you fail to successfully
attend the resort tour, you will be charged
accordingly. The resort you attend the tour at has
the final say in your qualified status. If they
disqualify you for ANY REASON, you will be charged
accordingly.
We have no control in the
decision process of the resort. If the resort
determines you to be not qualified, the decision is
final. This is very rare, but can and will
happen if you do not truly meet the age, income,
identification, marital & group travel
qualifications that are associated with the package
you are traveling on. It is YOUR
responsibility to make sure you attend your tour,
and truly meet all of the requirements.
We cannot extend our super low
promotional pricing without you successfully
completing the resort tour....to be charged the
promotional rate....you MUST successfully take part
in the promotion.
Additional expenses
- No transportation, gratuities,
or taxes are included in our offers. You must
pay state sales taxes
of $8.00 - $15.00 per night to the resort
at the time of check in. Some locations require us
to collect the sales tax upfront. We will notify you
if this is the case.
Our offers are not valid in conjunction with any
other promotion.
By booking a
vacation with The Vacation Store, you are hereby
agreeing to our refund & cancellation policy, and giving The Vacation Store your
understood and uncontestable approval
to all of the above terms & conditions,
including your agreeing to attend the open house
resort tour during your trip, and to charge your
credit card or checking account that we have on file
for any charges that may become due to your breach
of any of the above terms & conditions. These charges may
become due after your trip or after your initial
purchase date under the following circumstances:

You fail to take the resort
tour during your trip. This includes your spouse or significant other
being at the tour if applicable.

The resort notifies us that
you do not meet the age, income, identification
(including any major credit card qualification that
may be associated with your offer) & marital status
qualifications at the tour. This will not happen unless you told
us you do meet them, but tell the resort that you do
not meet them.

You do not show up to check in
or call us to re-schedule before your scheduled
check in date.

You cancel inside of 4 days
before check in.
-
The resort notifies us that
you are traveling with another family or group of
families at the same time at the same resort, where
more than 1 family in your group is also staying at
the resort in a separate unit on a promotional
package booked with us.
If any of the above
circumstances occur, you will be charged the
applicable fee's as they are outlined
in the above sections of this page. By booking a
vacation with The Vacation Store, you are hereby
agreeing to be charged according to the above
policies, and terms
& conditions, even after your trip if necessary, and
you are giving The Vacation Store your
understood and uncontestable approval to
charge you accordingly.
When you hit the submit button
below, your agreement to the above terms is sent to
us & kept on file in our secure server, as well as a
copy being emailed to us for storage with your
account. This includes your IP address. We
sincerely hope there is never a dispute with any of
our customers regarding our policies, but we must
make sure everyone honors the terms and conditions
set forth on this page and your resorts specific
terms & conditions page.
Should a dispute arise, your
electronic signature, along with the rest of the
info in the box below will be used to collect any
fee's that become due to any breach of any of the promotional terms &
conditions on this page, should it become necessary. This
includes credit card disputes that you may file, or
our company needing to hire third party collection
agencies. Your computers unique IP address is
also collected with the information in the box
below, along with your electronic signature.
